Student enrollment in Pinnacle SIS is a multifaceted process integral to the creation of a functional student record.

The enrollment process, in detail, includes the following steps:

  1. Gather Basic Information for Enrollment
  2. Selecting the Appropriate Enrollment Type
  3. Create Contacts and Households
  4. Assign Households to and Associate Contacts with a Student
A student record can be created with minimal information regarding a student, yet it is recommended that all information required to create a functional student record, which can be found in Basic Student Information, is gathered. Below is the step order in which a student file, enrollment information, and related contacts should be entered in the system. Click on the steps below for detailed instructions.

  • ENROLLMENT PROCESS/INSTRUCTIONS - MAISD Technology Services - assign student(s) to a household.

  • ENROLLMENT PROCESS/INSTRUCTIONS - MAISD Technology Services- associate contacts with a student.

  • ENROLLMENT PROCESS/INSTRUCTIONS - MAISD Technology Services - select the relationship a contact has to a student.

  • ENROLLMENT PROCESS/INSTRUCTIONS - MAISD Technology Services - arrange contacts in emergency calling order.
