Known System Issues

Below is a list of known system issues, including a work-around/fix to the issue. Please email Jeff Fielstra at the above email link with questions or to add issues to the list.
- Name Suffix - When entering a new student in the new student wizard, you can not add a suffix to a student's name.
- After completing all the steps in the new student wizard, click edit on the student's general tab and select the correct suffix.
- Is Hispanic - When creating a new student and choosing ethnicity, the option to click "Is Hispanic" is not present.
- After completing all the steps in the new student wizard, click edit on the student's general tab and click the "Is Hispanic" check box if the student is Hispanic. Select the how the information was provided in the drop-down box.
- Pre-Registration - The grade does not default to the next school year grade level for a student being pre-registered for the next school year while in the current school year.
- Be sure to select the correct grade if pre-registering a single student for the next school year.
- Web Browser - At this point, you must use Internet Explorer v7 or above for the system to function properly.
- Assigning a Student an Additional Household - When assigning a student an additional household, the system automatically sets this new household as the primary. In the contacts tab, be sure to check the correct household is set as primary.
- Unable to Load Client Print Control - If you receive this message when you are trying to use the print icon in a report, you should also have a banner at the top of your browser that states: "This website wants to install the following add-on: 'SQL Server Reporting Services 2008' from 'Microsoft Corporation.' If you trust the website and the add-on and want to install it, click here..." Click on the banner and follow the instructions to install this Active X control. Click "Retry" to print the report.
